WHO CAN APPLY?
Students who would like to contribute to our intercultural ecumenical community are very welcome here!
Formal prerequisites for an application are membership in a Christian church (member church of the ACK) and enrollment or application for enrollment at a Munich university.
People whose native language is not German must provide proof of language certificates or participation in language courses.
WHEN SHOULD I APPLY?
Applications for the summer semester can be submitted starting in November, applications for the winter semester starting in May.
Most decisions are made in July for the winter semester and in January for the summer semester.
Depending on room availability, decisions may also be made between these key dates.
The regular move-in date is then September 1st for the winter semester and March 1st for the summer semester.
HOW DOES AN APPLICATION WORK?
1. Download the application form.
If this link does not work, you are probably accessing it from your smartphone and have blocked the download via corresponding settings. Try it again from your computer. If it still doesn't work there, write us an email at Collegium.oecM@elkb.de with the subject "Application form".
2. Send us the completed form by email to Collegium.oecM@elkb.de. Please note we do not reply with a confirmation of receipt to your email.
For an application, we require a certificate of church membership, which you also attach to the email. Certificate of enrollment and proof of participation in a language course can be submitted later upon moving in.
We would also be very pleased if we could gain a further impression of applicants via a letter of reference from a person of trust who does not come from the family of origin. All data is collected only for the application process and is not passed on.
3. Promising applicants will be invited to an interview with the study management and the student representatives. In exceptional cases, this can also take place via Zoom.
When selecting new residents, we pay attention to ratios between theologians and non-theologians, nationalities, and gender identities.
